Delete Your Data
Kashi Ke Panditji supports signed-in accounts through mobile OTP or Google sign-in, and also offers guest use. To delete your saved personal content:
In the app
- Open Profile & settings.
- Tap Forget my details and confirm.
Forget Me deletes the conversations, birth details (yours and any family members you added), remembered context and preferences held in the service. It also revokes the old credentials and removes owned media and status-card photos. Deletion cannot be undone.
What remains
Some security records remain after deletion: usage-limit fingerprints expire after 30 days plus two minutes; token-revocation records keep deleted credentials invalid; and a keyed account identifier with a deletion timestamp rejects payment events that predate deletion. These replay-prevention records do not automatically expire and contain no raw account ID, payment payload, conversation, birth details or photo. Hashed deletion receipts permit confirmation retries for 180 days and are then eligible for cleanup. Aggregated usage statistics contain no chart or conversation data. Active records are removed through the server deletion flow; we do not state a fixed period for backup or recovery copies, which may remain until overwritten under those controls. Payment and tax retention requirements may also apply where the relevant store or payment operator is the legal record holder; this service does not claim to control those external records.
Delete one remembered detail
To keep your account while removing a saved memory, open Profile & settings > What Pandit Ji remembers. Find the detail, tap Forget this, and wait for the server confirmation. If removal fails, the detail stays visible so you can retry. This removes that remembered detail and resets earlier answer context; readable conversation history stays. Family profiles, original conversation history and your account are separate records. Use the full Forget my details action above to delete saved personal content across those records.
If you have already uninstalled
Visit Help & Support and request deletion. We need enough information to verify ownership before acting; an approximate date alone cannot identify a guest installation. Reinstalling does not by itself recover a guest record, while a signed-in account can be recovered through its sign-in method.
