JyotishAI - Privacy Policy

Your privacy and your trust matter to us. This explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Birth details you enter (date, time, place) - used to compute your chart.
• Palm / face photos you choose to upload - used only to generate that one reading.
• Your questions to Pandit Ji and the people you save in My Circle.
• A random device ID and anonymous usage analytics (which features are used, timings).

How we use it

• To compute your chart and give your readings.
• To remember your details so you never re-enter them.
• To improve the service. We never sell your data.

Palm & face photos (biometric)

Any photo you upload is analysed for your reading and then deleted - automatically once the reading is delivered, and in all cases within 24 hours. We do not keep, share, or train on your biometric images.

AI & third parties

To write readings we may send your question and your computed chart facts (not your identity) to Google's Gemini AI. Your photos are processed only for the reading and then deleted. Analytics are aggregate.

Storage, security & retention

• Data is stored securely; sensitive birth fields can be encrypted at rest.
• Chat history is auto-deleted after 180 days.
• You can delete everything anytime using Forget my details in the app, or by emailing us.

Your rights (India DPDP Act 2023)

You may access, correct, or erase your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Use Forget my details or contact us.

Children

JyotishAI is intended for users 18+ (or with a guardian's consent).
